The events that have transpired in Japan over the pat week, need no particular mention or reference. As a combination of earthquake, tsunami and potential nuclear destruction threaten Japan, there has been a strong global outreach of those getting involved. With such a heavy interest and involvement with many friends and associates in Japan, we hope for the best and for a swift recovery.

R.I.P: NATE DOGG DIES AT THE AGE OF 41

Sadly, after years of battling deteriorating health, Nate Dogg, whose real name was Nathaniel Hale, passed away at the age of 41. No exact cause of death was immediately released when the family announced his death to the Long Beach Press Telegram, though Nate suffered two massive strokes in recent years, one in 2007 which left him partially paralyzed, and another in 2008.

Nate Dogg was a four-time Grammy nominee and a major participant in the West Coast G-Funk Movement, contributing memorable and chart-topping hooks to all kinds of hits spanning the past two decades, starting with his features on Dr. Dre's "The Chronic". He went on to add his smooth, laid-back sound to Warren G's "Regulate," Dre and Snoop Dogg's "The Next Episode," Ludacris' "Area Codes" and Eminem's "Shake That." His most recent solo album, Nate Dogg, was released in 2008.

Longtime friend Snoop was the first to publicly mourn the loss:

"We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb," he tweeted last night. "One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met.

"I love u buddy luv. U will always b wit me 4ever n a day u put the g n g funk u put the 1 n 213 n u put yo stamp on evrybdy u ever didit wit. I miss u cuzz I am so sad but so happy I got to grow up with u and I will c u again n heaven cuz u know d slogan…all doggs go to heaven yo homie n baby brotha bigg snoopdogg!!

"RIP NATE DOGG."

As for Warren G, he has yet to publicly comment on the passing, but sadly just Sunday addressed fan concerns about Nate's health:

"For those that don't know awhile back nate had 2 strokes he is in therapy thanks again for your support."

Meanwhile, other fans and friends of Nate have weighed in on Twitter, offering up their own condolences.

R.I.P. ALICE IN CHAINS BASSIST MIKE STARR

Alice in Chains Bassist, Mike Starr has passed away. Mike's dad says, "It's a terrible shock and tragedy." Police are saying Starr's body was found in a Salt Lake City home Tuesday Afternoon. He had reportedly been taking medication to battle anxiety issues he had been suffering from since his arrest last month. We're told Mike was doing a pretty good job managing his medication, but according to Mike's roommate, Starr was "mixing" the meds Monday night .. just hours before he died.

Starr appeared on the 3rd season of "Celebrity Rehab" back in '09, & was arrested last month for felony possession of a controlled substance. Salt Lake City cops say he had 6 Xanax pills and 6 Opana (painkiller) pills when he was busted.

Starr's roommate added, "Mike was a beautiful person who was fighting to stay sober ... I am going to miss him greatly." Starr was 44 years old.

Celebrity Rehab is going all out for Season 5! Looks like Michael Lohan has passed the necessary criteria to appear on the next season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew. Michael will be seen for his addiction to mesh shirts… and rage issues.

Sources say that Lohan has issues to deal with including anger he still feels towards Dina. Michael reportedly wants Lindsay and Dina and their other children to appear on the show, which will probably never happen.

Lindsay is reportedly angry that her dad agreed to be on the show without even talking to her first but hopes that he will use some of the money he makes to pay back child support to Dina!

CHARLIE SHEEN LOSES HIS MIND AND HIS KIDS

Charlie Sheen got a visit Tuesday evening from an unexpected visitors at his Beverly Hills porn mansion to take his twin boys out of his custody. The out of work actors ex-wifey Brooke Mueller won a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier yesterday based on recent allegations that two buck Chuck was physically and verbally abusive to Brooke.

"I am very concerned that [Sheen] is currently insane," Mueller stated in the document. "I am in great fear that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the children's safety while in his care." Mueller alleges that Sheen took their twins, Bob and Max, 23 months, from her residence without her permission on Feb. 26th and has been keeping her from them since, according to the court documents.

Sheen "rarely saw our children [since our Dec. 25 domestic incident] and only recently began to show any interest in them," Mueller stated. When she tried to get the twins back, Sheen allegedly threatened, "I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom," she said. Mueller also alleged that while on vacation in the Bahamas last week with his two girlfriends, Sheen launched into a tirade against Mueller, punched her in the arm, spat on her feet and "threatened to stab my eye with a pen knife," the documents show.

A hearing is set for March 22 to determine whether to extend the restraining order. Both Sheen and Mueller are required to attend. When contacted by PEOPLE and asked if he planned to fight for custody of his sons, Sheen replied with a text message that reads, "Born ready. Winning."

JERSEY SHORE: SEASON FOUR WILL BE IN ITALY

As if they don't get enough shit in the U.S. about how they bring down their Italian Heritage, or how their a disgrace to their own race, MTV is sending the Shoreside Gweedo's and Gweedette's to the Motherland, Italy. Filming starts April 18th....

According to an insider, the tentative plan is to spend about two full months across the pond, with the option to return to Seaside Heights to film there on Memorial Day weekend.

I think MTV is trying to get the maximum about of bloodshed by sending these douche's there. If they thought American-Italians were protective over their heritage, wait til they get to Italia.

The company that paid for the advertisement on a Hollywood billboard tagged by infamous graffiti artist Banksy is PISSED the ad was taken down. A rep for The Light Group, a management company based in Las Vegas, says CBS outdoor advertising department is responsible for peeling off the billboard, and they tore it down without ever contacting Light Group management.

The Light Group rep tells us, "We're extremely pissed ... It's our billboard that got tagged .. it's not their billboard ... CBS clearly has ZERO appreciation for art!!!" The rep added some parting praise for the Academy Award nominated artist, "We were flattered Banksy tagged on our ad....it was epic."

The Light Group was told they will be allowed to keep the work of art. The owners of the Gas Station below offered CBS $10,000 and they refused the offer! Banksy has hit L.A. with some super freshness. This billboard could be worth 10's of thousands of dollars! The Light Group is stoked they get to keep it!
